Football socials are a HUGE part of our club and are the perfect opportunity to get to know your team mates. Every Wednesday evening socials will take place at The Bowling Green pub to celebrate or commiserate (less of the latter!) the days match.
Socials involve a variety of different things, mostly themed fancy dress outfits which range from stuffing t-shirts to make yourself as fat as possible, turning yourself into a birthday cake to dressing up as a mental patient to be treated to a crazy night out! Regular drinking games take place, to encourage team bonding and healthy competition obviously, before everyone heads off to Timepiece to finish the night with the rest of the Exeter sports teams. These are the nights are full of banter and not to be missed!
We will also involve some non drinking socials throughout the year, such as bowling and cinema trips. Two key socials to mention are the Christmas dinner social (the name says it all); and the end of season dinner with awards being handed out for a range of achievements!
Everyone that would like one can also get a stylish social shirt designed by our wonderful social secs, Lizzie and Wilson! This has our Exeter badge and slogan on and may be the dress theme for some socials.
Socials are a key part of university life not to be missed. Hope to see you there!
